A. Decides son at friends doing drugs when should be at school
B. Goes to find, and get, son
C. Finds son just before putting needle in arm

II. Son doing criminal activity such as stealing
A. Son gets caught; taken to jail / prison
B. Mother comes, though son has to stay; record
C. Mother talks to son; strikes a plan; talks to police, store, person

III. Process of son struggling to go straight, gets an ‘A’ in school–finally all classes

IV. 5 years later
